Richard Jones and Dodson & Horrell Brand Ambassadors raise £1,000 for charity in D&H19 Masterclasses

The Dodson & Horrell Masterclass series made a highly successful 2019 return with two evening demonstrations led by top professionals from the showjumping and eventing worlds which provided a combined £1,000 for the Tim Stockdale Foundation and The Brooke Charity, both receiving £500 donations respectively.

Recently selected British Podium Potential squad member Richard Jones led the Dodson & Horrell Eventing Masterclass alongside World Equestrian Games team gold medallist Tom McEwen at Keysoe on Monday 21 January. The showjumping father and son, Michael and Jack Whitaker, hosted the showjumping Masterclass at Arena UK, Lincolnshire on Wednesday 16 January. The evenings featured an array of training methods, live demonstrations and a Q&A aimed towards helping young and inexperienced horses as well as those who are making their way up the levels.

Richard Jones said “Tom and I were delighted to have the opportunity to share our equestrian knowledge and provide expert insights for an audience of all ages. The work that Dodson & Horrell does in organising these Masterclasses is outstanding – and to then also raise a thousand Pounds for two very worthy equestrian causes in the Tim Stockdale Foundation and The Brooke Charity is a fabulous outcome.”

All attendees were given the chance to watch the experts working close up and had the opportunity to ask questions, meet and greet the riders and take home a D&H goody bag along with a free bag of feed, which included the innovative Balancer Range. Gemma Schwarz, Head of Marketing at Dodson & Horrell, commented, “The Masterclasses were a great success and we hope that all who attended were inspired by the evenings. The knowledge and experience of our Brand Ambassadors is second to none and we are very proud to work with them.”

Dodson & Horrell will also be hosting a summer evening Masterclass on Tuesday 4 June 2019, featuring Captain Mark Phillips, Zara Tindall and Lauren Hough. Tickets will be on sale soon!
