Richard Jones and Tom McEwen to feature in initial 2019 Dodson & Horrell Eventing Masterclass

Richard Jones will be a key contributor to the first Eventing Masterclass series of 2019, sponsored by leading animal nutritionists and horse feed manufacturer Dodson & Horrell. The Masterclass, which aims to inspire and educate the next generation of event riders, takes place on 21 January at Keysoe Equestrian Centre. The event will feature the two 4* and 5* event riders Richard Jones and Tom McEwen and will be compered by veteran event commentator Spencer Sturmey.

The evening has been designed to appeal not just to competitive event riders but to all those who have an interest and enjoy watching the sport. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and quiz Tom and Richard and learn from their training tips and advice for all levels of competition. There will also be ample opportunity to discuss the performance feeding requirements for competition horses with members of the Dodson & Horrell team.

“The whole idea of the Masterclass Series is to give really useful advice and tips to riders at every level. Tom and I will aim to be completely approachable and helpful and give attendees plenty of food for thought as they prepare their event horses for their 2019 competitions,” Richard Jones explained. The invitation to take part in the first of this series follows a very successful year for Richard with top 10 places at Burghley and Blenheim.
