He’s prepped and ready to take on the course
Richard and his 5* ride Alfies Clover are off to Badminton to take-on one of the world’s most demanding event courses. This will be their fifth outing to Badminton, with 2022 being their best form where they finished tenth.
Alfie is in excellent form with good runs at Burnham Market and Oasby before he takes on the stiff course at Badminton.
The 17yo eventer has a spring in his step and as Richard says, relishes the big 5* courses.
“There’s no pressure on Alfie. He has nothing to prove, he’s a 5* horse through and through. He has given so much and owes us nothing.
“He’s in such good form and enjoying every minute of his work, that if the ground is good, he will love the challenge of the event, from dressage, the cross country to show jumping”
